THE EVENT: Congratulations to Jordan Cottrell for winning the event at his first attempt. Also the last placed Leslie Davidson. This is an excellent first ride for a lady on a heavy mountain bike.  BURY CLARION Offers championship competitions over 10, 25, 50 and 100 miles, this hill climb and a trackman of the year. The annual subscription is £10.00

THE CO-OPERATIVE MOVEMENT: The Co-ops led major retailers in the 1990’s promoting Fairtrade. This event contributes to Bury qualifing as a  Fairtrade Town.

BURY MEMBERS GROUP (The co-operative) attempts to create an awareness of the value to society of the Co-operative values and principles CHARITY Donations were given amounting to £41 – these will be sent to the Co-op 2011 Charity Mencap THANKS Due thanks to Roger Winstanley for timing the event and the Landlord at the Hare and Hounds (Fairtrade beverages are available).
